Queen Elizabeth Cake

Ingrédients :

500g Date muffin dough, in bucket
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup 35% cream
2/3 cup butter or non-hydrogenated margarine
1 ½ cups sweetened coconut flakes

Marche à suivre :
  1. Preheat convection oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Place muffin dough in a buttered 9” pan.
  3. Cook in convection oven for 27 to 30 minutes, or until cake is firm to the touch.
  4. Mix all other ingredients together in a pot, bring to a boil and let boil for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour over cake.
  6. Put cake back in oven and cook for 10 more minutes or until topping is golden.
  7. Cut into squares.
